LlAMA

Llama wool garments are warm and comforting. These features are due to its fine, strong, warm and lightweight fibers, making it feel fluffy, cuddly and cozy to the touch.  llama wool has very little oil content and the fibers are antibacterial, making it an ideal choice for allergy sufferers and those with sensitive skin.

Llamas are very similar to alpacas. Both are members of the Camelid family. The only differences are that llamas are generally larger than alpacas, have longer necks and larger ears. Additionally, llamas have a different face shape compared to alpacas.

Llama wool is also known as the cashmere of the Andes. Wool from these animals is considered a luxury fiber as shearing occurs only every 2 years. It is distinguished by its resilience and is also one of the temperature-regulating materials. This is a fantastic feature, as the wool can be both warm and cool – depending on the season.
