ALPACA

Alpaca wool luxuriously combines flexibility and airiness. The hair of the south American small camel is five times warmer than sheep wool – making it perfectly suited to life at 5000 meters. Our new Alpaca wool is IAA certified.

The alpaca fiber is a soft natural fiber with a silky luster. In comparison with sheep wool, it is warmer, finer, with no lanolin content and therefore it can be easily worn by people with wool allergies.

Alpaca wool is particularly popular due to its thermal properties. As the fiber is hollow on the inside, it can insulate heat well and thus store your own body temperature particularly well. It is also highly dirt-repellent. This means that alpaca wool rarely needs to be cleaned.
